leonard is sleeping. the apartment is unnaturally quiet... i just finished a quick update of leonard's web site (edit: which has been taken off-line) with the embryo of the august photo album and some more info in the july dito. boy, am i glad i put the effort in writing the back-end to his site; it saves me loads of time now (although it took me a while to put it together back then:)).

the pictures above were taken about a week ago. leonard had a small... hrmm... accident in bed while sleeping, and since it was my turn to entertain him this particular morning, i felt a bath would be a good start of the day. the right-on-flash is the built-in on my nikon; i didn't have time to mount the external one, less so to diffuse the light. switched to shutter priority and set the speed to 1/45 sec, decreased the power of the flash with half a stop or so. nerdish.

update 040104: i'm entering this post to the photofriday challenge called "best of 2003". the birth of leonard was the best thing that happened in 2003. he'll probably be number one on any of the "best of"-lists of the years to come:)
