this is my favourite photo. for now. it's taken at the beach where we spent a week and a half in july. it was hot. the beach is located some 900 kilometers north of our home (in stockholm), but still, the water was 23 degrees celsius. and no mosquitos. probably because of the dry weather. it's really an empty space up there; in the neighbourhood of the summer house there are perhaps 30 or 40 other houses, but the thing is that you don't see them. well, except for the closest ones. empty and quiet. the beach is not a private one, but no one else uses the part of it that is next to the house, so in practice, it's private.

i'm about to finish off my second week at work after my five week summer vacation. i haven't really come to grips yet with the things i should do. maybe i should have some more vacation?:) still have a couple of weeks left... tove and leonard will pay me a visit at work later today. it'll be a short day today. not that i mind.
