i think i've finally got a hang on how to scan b/w emulsions now. this shot actually looks better on-screen (tonewise at full size, that is) than on the contact sheet i got from the store. photo taken taking full advantage of my height (and weight:) on kodak tri-x at the 300 mm end of my 70-300 tele-zoom and nikon f80. it's amazing how close you can get to stage just as long you got a big camera...
