what's missing in this shot? wouldn't it make sense to have a ledge below the first door as well? maybe the door is the personal entrance, sorry, exit?
shot on slide film using a lomo lc-a. xprocessed.
two things happened today, the first amused me a bit, and the second pissed me off.
around lunch, i went to a guy about advice about my private economy (invited meeting). the following happened...
economy guy: "you know that if you save up for your pension, you're not allowed to withdraw the money from your account until you're 55."
me: "ok."
eg: "how old are you now?"
me: "33."
eg goes to the whyte board and writes 55 - 33 =, then picks out his calculator and types on it for a bit, then adds to the board
"22".
that amused me; would you take economic advice from someone who needs a pocket calculator to do the subtraction 55 - 33?
the other thing that happened was this; i was riding the bus, late afternoon, rush hour. i had my one year old with me. finally sound asleep in the carriage. next to him is a mother with her baby, maybe 10 months of age or so. her baby is sitting in it's carriage, and starts to screeeeaaaam. the mother refuses to pick the baby up. she refuses to do so for quite a while.... eventually, my son wakes up, of course, and also starts to scream. kids do that. then, the mother picks up her baby (which immediately becomes quiet). my son continues to scream, and i can't pick him up since i'm standing (the bus is full). mother goes "oh, the little baby is sad. little baby cries" to her own kid. had she known anything about how kids interact, she had picked up her own baby as soon as it started to cry to avoid putting another parent in this situation. bitch!
