yesterday's walk with the camera and the far-too-heavy tripod turned out to be exactly what i needed to think that photography might actually be a fun thing. again. i'm not back on track yet, but i hope to be eventually.
this shot depicts the first shooting scene; greta garbo square, just around the block from where i live. i think the light is set to make the square look like a theatre scene. nikon f80, tamron 17-35, fuji reala. 30 seconds at f/8.
i learned several things last night, the most obvious one is to always bring spare batteries, which i didn't.
