my brother in law owns an old open, wooden boat. every year, he varnishes and tars it before launch. i wonder how many layers of varnish he's put on the hull through the years. we're really looking forward to the summer and the trips on the nearby lake. heck, maybe we'll even do some fishing, just for the sake of it.
