another side note. last month, i submitted to a competition in the english magazine practical photography. yesterday, i learned that the entry earned me 5 points in their photographer of the year contest, which esentially means my contribution was ranked as #6 in one of the sub-contests. not a prizewinner, but i was thrilled to see it in print:)
