i finally got my long sought after d70. i'd been waiting for one for weeks but they were out of stock pretty much everywhere, at least among the stores that carried them at a decent price. i've had some troubles with it; sometime it's not possible to shut it down, and more often it's not possible to turn it on... the indicator of memory card access blinks and blinks and blinks and nothing happens. not even if the mains are switched off. bob pointed me to a couple of things i should try, and so far the camera seems ok. thanks!
