did some thinking. my way of photography, style if you will, comes from my social situation. work, sleep, eat, work, sleep,... you get the drill. my social life is at work. once out of work, family is what matters. so, when i get the opportunity to get an hour or two for shooting stuff during the weekends, i usually end up looking for abstract, concrete, inanimate stuff like in the previous posts. continuing like that won't lend any opportunity to learn how to photograph people, right? yesterday, i picked up leonard from daycare. as ususal. while on our way home, i came to think of my not-much-used-flashgun. i fitted it on the d70, switched to manual, and tried to catch leonard posing. this is one of the resulting shots. taken in our kitchen. he'll turn two in a couple of months, and he already knows how to follow instructions "go there, turn that way".
maybe i need to get a new flashgun, one that's intended to work ttl-wise with the d70? in know of the sb600 and sb800; are there any other brands/models that works with the d70?
listening to while posting: project 23 - 23. oldie goldie. dnb from '96. is it just me, or is drum'n'bass on the move again?
