i dropped off slash picked up a couple of rolls of film just now. there's definitely something about getting the negs and a contact sheet from the store that can't be recalled when shooting digital. i'll never give up film. but there are occasions when digital serves it's purpose. the above series is one of those times when i was happy i only had to worry about running out of storage, as opposed to wasting film. the mandatory family portrait at christmas. it sort of went haywire, and despite having almost a dozen or so shots, i'm not sure any single one is of the kind that my mother in law had expected... it's one big happy family, and i'm glad i'm a part of it.
