i spend last saturday at coney island together with go, keith, joe and raul. harsh sunshine and windy winds. sunday meant blisters, a beatiful red tan, and a slight headache; all being repercussions of a great time.

smudo.org was down for a long time yesterday. i hate it when that happens. i have yet to recieve word from the hosting company about what went wrong. there are cheaper alternatives than that company, but so far, i've figured that what i pay for is uptime and accessibility. not so yesterday; i'm seriously thinking of switching to some other host.

edit: i got an answer from my hosting company regarding yesterday's downtime. the tone in their answer is not satisfactory. it might well be the case that the disturbance was beyond their control, but i don't want to have to talk to their internet provider (as they suggest in their email) about the services i'm purchasing. that's a thing between the hosting company and the hosting company's internet provider. i'd like my host to offer me a reduction of next quarter's fee. so, you might want to think twice before enrolling with fsdata.
