yay. my new hard drive is here. i guess i'll have to spend the day re-installing software. note to self: stash the list of cannot-do-without-programs somewhere safe, or better yet, burn them on a dvd.

it's really, really, REALLY about time to look for a new web host. anyone got any ideas? candidate hosts should at least; offer their services for less than $20 per month, have shell access, run php, mysql, perl, allow alot of traffic, provide lots of disk, and let me point several domains to the same account.
