with three days to go to the darkest day of the year, the snow finally showed. spent the day at the yearly pre-xmas celebration party, now gently refurbished by my parents. thanks mom. thanks dad;)

will spend tomorrow travelling to brussels and back for a meeting. we'll be back in time to join the long tail of a colleague's dissertation party.
