it's not nearly as bad as it seems. she's actually quite easy-going. despite that, our lives are upside-down at the moment. although i already knew it, viola emphasizes that leonard isn't a baby anymore. he's a big guy.
if you, as a parent, have done your homework, having a second kid should mean no surprises; you know how to change dipers, you know that all they do the first time is eat, sleep, and, well, eat. you might actually think it'll be easier the second time around, since you'll probably not be as on-your-toes as with the first one. you know that you don't have watch them all the time just to see to it that nothing happens, you know that you can continue doing whatever it is you're doing despite the fact that the little one cries. in theory, you know all that. but what i'm trying to figure out is just how to synchronise the sleep eat sleep-cycle of the little one with the sleep eat play watch tv take a nap habits of the older one. anyone got a one-solution-fits-all to that potential problem? or maybe that's actually not a problem, maybe my mind's just fried with daddy hormones at the moment.
finally, a big BIG thank you to all of you who has emailed, called and commented on the previous post! we appreciate it big time! i know if viola was a bit more articulate, she'd thank you herself.
hugs'n'kisses
