some friends from work sent us a delicious, luxurious, and sweet gift today. around noon, fedex delivered a freshly baked bread from poilâne in paris. viola would easily fit into the box in which the bread was delivered. check this shot to get a feel for the size of it.

for dinner, we had a smooth onion and potatoe soup, red wine, some prästost, roquefort, and gruyère to go with the bread. de-lic-ious! thanks a million, guys!
