i've been meaning to go from HERE to THERE. domestic. soon. emergency of sorts. taking a train is too expensive, and takes way too long. besides, the train company's (sj) website is pretty far from flawless, to say the least, which makes it pretty damn hard to find out the optimal route wrt to price and time.
flying is another option. three alternatives: flyme, sas, and flynordic. turns out flyme has suspended their flights to THERE for the summer. wtf! no flights between may and september!?
sas' website sucks big time! there are so many errors in that page, i won't even begin to name them. heck, they'll have to pay me for suggesting improvements. in the future, i'll avoid sas for the sake of it... it won't be hard since their site acts like a shield, deflecting customers to other travel alternatives. heck, it'll probably be faster to walk the 600 kilometers to THERE than it would getting a decent error message from the sas site. i wonder how much it costs them in terms of customer dissatisfaction, lost deals, and rants like this one?
flynordic's site, in comparision, seems awfully fresh and easy to navigate. they're way cheaper too.
i'm not going anywhere but my bed right now.
