i went to see swedish writer/comedian jonas gardell performing his 'väckelsemöte' at vitabergsparken tonight. we went with our kids to the same activity group a couple of years ago, and since then, people have told me that he's used that group of twenty-something dads as material for a part of his show. there were in particular two things i was keen on hearing, apart from the fact that he describes the activity group as a 'homo-erotic dream' (never thought of it that way; my buddy and i laughed our asses of for that one, no pun intended), the first was when he confessed he was 'secretly in love with leonard's dad', and the second being that we had to sing all those versions of a particular kid's song 'otherwise leonard's dad would be pissed off'. now, i don't flatter myself believing that gardell would even recognise me, but it feels kind of funny to hear that reference during his show.
