how bad must it be to earn a spot in the news?

when walking home from us the other night, our superkind babysitter became sort of a witness to a guy getting hit by a car. she said she thinks the car, small suv type, was going slowly along tjärhovsgatan, and when it turned left to östgötagatan, the guy somehow fell and got his legs run over by the car's rear wheels. she didn't see it, but she said the legs popping was audible. clearly. the guy, in shock, said "it ran over my legs, it ran over my legs". then he puked.

nothing in the local media. not even a tiny note. how bad must it be for something to be in the news?
