it's been almost a year since i shot this scene. i hadn't really looked at the contact sheet until yesterday. in hindsight, the images provide a relief of sorts, a contrast to what was happening back then. the situation was very critical for one in our large family... i guess that hadn't things turned out the way they finally did, the situation captured in the images above would render nothing more than sadness.
