enjoyed mark lanegan and isobel campbell at debaser slussen last night. a decent gig. people in the back complained about the quality of the sound; i myself found it good. what i didn't like, but completely understand, was the use of prerecorded strings. it was a no-cameras-allowed kinda gig. "the main act doesn't like to be photographed", the guard at the entrance said when he asked to see my camera. right. mr lanegan seems to be a rather shy act; no light his way during the whole gig. the above shot captures one of the few moments when his face was almost lit. i had the camera on auto iso the whole time; guess the iso here is 6400.
