close cake encounter. our big boy turned seven today, or, yesterday. he enjoyed every bit of it; the people, the cake, the lego, the nintendo, the lot. i just now carried him from the sofa to his bed as he wanted to be sure he'd be awake past midnight to get the most out of his birthday.
